The Why and the What.
In college we were barraged with charts, and graphs, and visual concept models to help us understand and remember difficult concepts. Our teachers refer to them all as our advertising, or marketing tool box. Some are used as references to explain, some are to show you what you should do in circumstances, and others are meant to be templates to proven methods.
I’ve kept everyone they gave out to us, and even though I don’t always refer to them but they do come in handy when you are dry of ideas, need a refresher on how things connect, or what you should do.Marketing and advertising have been around for decades and knowledge is out there. Now that things moving ever closer to being all digital, some of the same rules apply but even more need to be adapted, or created to fulfill the needs of the digital industry.
There are no charts, diagrams, or models for the digital marketer and advertiser, except for the time-tested, and always unpredictable trail & error process.

Which leads me to the purpose of this post. My Thinkshop going to house all the diagrams, flowcharts, and models I come up with.
My wish is that you will take time to state your ideas in the comments section of my exhibits, and tell me and the world what you have learned, and what you think it should look like.
Together we can create a social media tool box that is based on countless numbers of professionals’ experiences, and expertise, and is open to all of us.
The internet to me has always been open, free, and collaborative and that’s what I want to have here for our industry.
